When Sam and Julia arrive at the vet clinic after school, Sam notices one of the patients, a cat named Tom, has not been picked up by his human guardian, Doug, as expected. Sam and Julia must help Tom rescue Doug, who is trapped in an archaeological expedition after discovering a life-altering artifact, before he is intercepted by competitive teams who may want the artifact for themselves!
